General Election Information
Regarding the upcoming election of the Woolen Mills Neighborhood Association Board, accepting and counting of ballots will be informed by Code of Virginia governing voting process.
When voting at the Chapel (beginning @ 4:00 pm 10/21/2018), please be prepared to show identification to the election officials.
(i) a current and valid photo identification or
(ii) a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or other government document that shows the name and address of the voter. Such individual who desires to vote in person but who does not show one of the forms of identification specified shall be offered a ballot to which their name and address will be attached until questions of residency are resolved.
Worst case: you are unknown to the election officials,
you have no ID,
no utility bill,
the dog ate your social security card.
We will work with you to verify your status as a resident of this neighborhood
And upon verification, your vote will be counted.

Absentee voting for the Woolen Mill’s Neighborhood Association Board begins October 15, 2018.
To vote absentee by U.S. mail send a piece of paper containing your name and address and list the names of up to nine candidates for whom you wish to vote. In the alternative, download and use the absentee ballot. Mail to

We would like to have 100% involvement from the neighborhood and we’d like 100% of the ballots cast to be counted. Please, do your part, name and address are required, in their absence the ballot will be “spoiled”. If you are responding by US Mail, print legibly or download and use the absentee ballot.
A general meeting will commence after the election concludes at 7pm. At this time the neighbors convened will vote on a constitutional amendment to allow the removal of board members. Please read the amendment here: Board Member Removal Amendment
Grill Out, Potluck, and Art Show
In addition to the election and general meeting there will be grill out/potluck and art show. Please bring a dish to pass and enjoy the art display in the chapel.
